LEAPING FOR THE FLOWERS

Jeanette writes:  My inspiration for this block of an Airedale leaping through a field of flowers was a photo my daughter took of the blue bonnets in Texas and the children playing in the field. There were no ADTs, but my Maggie would have run through it and tasted a flower or two.  I now have a 1 year old Welsh Terrier who leaps and "flies".

I started out with the idea of making blue bonnets and even cut out some blue flowers.  I couldn't applique them properly.  I felt I needed "something" to add to the flowers so I used a print.
