Facebook:  The Blackheath Animal Art Gallery

This piece, a Quilter's Kitchen Witch, is guaranteed to keep you from ever ripping out a stitch again!  Kitchen Witches are good luck when given to a friend or loved one, and it is said she will also keep pots from boiling over, sauces from burning, and the hearth fire warm and toasty.  This Witch, created exclusively for the Quilt Fundraisers, is approximately 7" in length and will look wonderful no matter where you hang her!  You can view other creations at Terry's website or on her Facebook page, Blackheath Animal Art

NO. 1-3 TWO VINTAGE AIREDALE BOOKS
Derry, Airedale of the Frontier and Derry's Partner by Hubert Evans
Donated by Candy Kramlich

Derry, Airedale of the Frontier, circa 1928, 253 pages. Derry's Partner, 1929, 268 pages. Both by Hubert Evans. Grosset & Dunlap, reprint editions. Good reading of adventure stories centered around the Airedale Terrier, Derry.  Hubert Evans became a reporter in 1910 and, after service overseas in WWI, was a fisheries officer in northern BC. In 1925 he decided to write full-time and in 1927 began supporting his family by writing articles, short stories, serials, radio plays and books for juveniles. His first novel, The New Front Line (1927), was about a returned veteran. Mist on the River (1954), described cultural conflicts in an Indian village.

NO. 1-4 SET OF 10 VINTAGE AIREDALE PHOTO NOTECARDS
Made and Donated by Cheryl Fritz

After Cheryl Fritz won the 2015 Bonus Quilt, "Faithful Friend", by Carolyn Finlayson, she contacted me to donate TWO identical sets of TEN 5" x 7" Vintage Airedale Photo Notecards, created by herself.  She donated these to the Airedale Rescue Quilting Bee to be used for fundraising for National Airedale Rescue.  She wrote that EACH card's retail value is $3.99.  Each card is in its own plastic sleeve with an envelope.  The notecard and envelope are ivory-colored. The first photo is her business card.  Photos taken of each card (with the envelope behind the card) in its plastic sleeve. These would make nice handwritten notes to special friends or framed as a set for a nice Airedale display.
