Original Drawing
I picked the month of March because it's the harbringer of Spring, one of my favorite seasons.  It's a windy time of year, hence the kite theme and the flowers are just starting to peek up.  My 10 yr. old Airedale, Pinky, is pretty spunky, and I could just picture her grabbing the string of the kite and running across the yard with it and me giving chase to catch her.  Lots of luck there! I did have a problem with the beard and the ears for some reason or another this year.  Small pieces are still my nemesis!  But I'm learning a little more each year I do this.  As they say, practice makes perfect.

  2. Beautiful block. And yes, I can see 'dales chasing the kite, or tugging on the string. Perfect!
