Karen writes: “My family got our first Airedale Terrier, Buddy, when I was 12. That gives me a 50-year history of owning and loving the breed. A portion of each of those 50 years has been spent at Tupper Lake in the Adirondack Mountains. Every one of our beloved big terriers has spent time hiking, swimming, canoeing and climbing mountains. They have been Adirondack Airedales. For me, the epitome of Adirondack outdoor wear is red plaid Woolrich. It says fall, hunting season, a walk in the woods. It is what a discerning Airedale would choose for a stroll on a crisp autumn day.”
