NO. 3B - THREE-BOOK PACKAGE
Winner: Barbara Morrison
From the back of the booklet: “Muffy started it all, as a Christmas present for my daughter, Semon. This chubby and very energetic puppy disrupted our placid lives as only an Airedale can. She quickly made herself at home chewing everything in sight including the stereo headphones. Janice, wife, mother and unpaid kennel maid, knows me very well and predicted that I would not be satisfied with one dog. She was right and Bindi, small and shy, was soon added to the family and the pages of Dopey Dale. Since then other Airedales have added to the chaos of our household. Jeremy, the most recent addition, promises to provide a whole new chapter.”

“One Big Happy Family” featuring a story of Sunshade, the Airedale, with her Guinea Pigs, pawtographed by Sunshade & Meatball and Donated by Lydia Ross
“The Money Tree” by Sarah Stewart, Illustrations by David Small Donated by Candy Kramlich
From the inner flap of the book’s dust cover: “A strange tree is growing through the January snow in Miss McGillicuddy’s yard. Where did it come from? Why does it grow so fast? By May, its first leaves appear, and everyone is surprised to find that they aren’t leaves at all. As Miss McGillicuddy goes about her daily routine – planting, gathering flowers, feeding her animals – she is startled by the frantic early harvest of the crowds who gather under the tree. When will it end? Will the tree exchange its crisp green for autumn brown when the season changes?”
