Rose wrote: “I chose to applique an Airedale wearing a crown for this year’s quilt block. They are the largest breed of terriers so are often referred to as King of the Terriers.”  Rose took Artist Linda Hobbet's drawing and added the crown for her block.







Here is the finished block before quilting.  You can see the lovely pieced background fabric very clearly.
